I believe every moment is an opportunity to be blessed or be a blessing.
On my way out on Boxing Day I met a woman I used to see during my bus travels. I hadn't seen in her quite a while as I have been travelling using a different route. My friend was on her way to work at the betting shop which she said is very busy on Boxing Day. I told her I could relate because when I was at university I worked part time at a betting shop. My friend said she hasn't been feeling well and had a sore throat, probably due to some infection. I wished her well.
Later that night I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat. I knew the pain was related to my friend so I sent her lots of love and wished her well. I then stayed in silence and the pain was dissolved.
The next day at the bus stop I saw my friend. I told her I'd been thinking of her the night before and asked her how she was feeling. She said her throat was getting worse but she had to go to work to hand over the keys. She was hoping to return home to rest. She said her baby was also sick. Before we parted company I wished her well.
When I woke up this morning, I saw there was a sprinkle of snow. I decided that instead of taking my usual walk through the park, I would catch a bus instead. As I was walking to the bus stop, I saw my friend approaching. She was looking really well. She said when she went to the doctor about the sore throat he couldn't find any infection. He recommended that she gaggle with salt water and take some pain killers. She said she was feeling good.
Blessings to all.
