No Contact

Isn't it weird that when relationships break up people decide to sever all ties. Some even decide on a period of no contact.

How is it possible to sever ties and have no contact with someone when we are all one?

Since not everyone understands or accepts the idea of oneness, let's say for argument sake, no contact means not speaking on the telephone, sending emails or meeting up face to face. What happens when you think of the other person? In my experience, the moment I think of someone I'm in instant contact with that person. As I see it, email is simply a slower form of telepathy. Isn't thinking of someone staying in contact? I certainly think so.

I could pretend the feelings I shared with the other never happened. Ha, but what you still dream about the person while asleep? I have communicated with people in my dreams and we've chatted like old times. Isn't that another form of staying in contact?

Ultimately, I could simply erase this friend from memory and destroy everything connected with this person. Where there is no shared memory, there is nothing to think of and no contact can ever be made. I reckon that should do the trick.

Until we are all capable of erasing the unerasable, enough already about the "no contact" bullshit!
