While I was watching the TV news last night I realised I didn't have a clue what they were talking about. I felt like a dog watching the news, at least how I imagine it to be.
The dog listens for familiar sounds that has meaning to him like "sit", "fetch", "roll over", "lie down", "heel", "stay", "bone", "food", "stick", "walkies"; or anything to do with smells, barking and other dogs. If he doesn't hear anything familiar, the news is meaningless.
Like the dog, I was also listening out for signs in the news that had meaning for me and nothing came up.
So I rolled over and remained in silence.
