Love Changes Everything - Part 2

Even though I love music, I haven't a clue what's in the music charts. There are too many artists to keep up with what's in the music scene. From time to time, I hear songs that touch me and get me back in the music scene.

A month ago while I was the bookshop I heard them playing this album which really touched me. I fell in love with the singer's voice and asked the shop assistant what the group was called. He said it was Kings of Leon. I'd never heard of them. It was quite odd how the songs I really liked: "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody" were the ones they have released as singles.

Since then, "Kings of Leon" songs seem to be popping up everywhere. Last night I watched The Brit Awards which recognises British and international music artists. "Kings of Leon" picked up two awards for Best International Group and Best International Album. They even performed "Use Somebody" which was brilliant.

It's amazing what love can do. My love for "Kings of Leon" has opened up a whole new dimension of music. Thanks, guys; you are my new Kings. Actually, you are one letter short of Leone; I lived in Sierra Leone as a child. The country was called Serra de Leão by the Portuguese explorer Pedro da Cintra because he thought the mountain ranges looked like lions. I happen to love all things connected with lions.

All the very best to you, my friends.
