No Need to Sit in the Dark

Last week we received a letter from the local council notifying us to expect a black-out from around 10 pm to 6 am. At the time I reminded myself that God is Infinite Power.

So last night we had candles and a torch ready for the black-out and sat watching TV. At the appointed hour, there was no black-out. We watched television until around 11.30 pm and we still had light.

This morning I checked the microwave to see whether the timer had been affected by any power cut but it was fine.

While man had decided there was insufficient energy to warrant a power cut God, who is Infinite Power, had decided otherwise. I also believe God didn't want to deprive us of our nightly entertainment.

There is no need to experience darkness where there is only Infinite Light.
