The Power of Magnification

I have observed that whatever I focus on is magnified.

I have to say I'm not a fan of snow. I don't care how pretty it looks, it's just not for me. When I woke up yesterday and saw several inches of snow, the first thing I focused on was mild weather. Even though the weather forecasters have been predicting more of the same, I have been focused on mild weather and the snow has been rapidly melting. No doubt, the more I focus on mild weather the more that will be magnified in my experience.

Before I left home this morning I popped out to the local shops to run an errand for my mother. The pavements were still icy from yesterday's snowfall. When I returned home she asked me what it was like outside.

"It's fine actually," I said.

"Are the pavements slippery?"

"No, they are not; at least I don't expect them to be."

Later when I walked to catch my bus into town, about a mile away, I focused on my expectation of staying upright and I was fine. In other words, I had magnified staying upright and that was my experience.

I believe another way to magnify an experience is to either give it away or share the experience. In other words, if I want more joy then I have to share the joy that I am. By sharing my joy in my writings, my joy is being magnified.

Still another and much simpler way to magnify an experience is to call it forth, in rather the same way one can use the Zoom facility on the computer to magnify a photograph or text on the screen. Therefore, if I want to experience more light, all I have to do is ask that the light in me be magnified.

But why would I want to magnify an attribute, such as light, in me when I am already infinite light?

So I can experience light in a quantitative way. I believe the purpose of this dream we call life is to experience my nature as spirit in a quantitative way.

Let's say a mother has a child for the first time. She feels so much love for that child. While she's pregnant with her second child, she may wonder if she's at all capable of feeling as much love for the second child as she does for her first. After she's given birth to her second child she discovers she has even more capacity to love. In other words, the experience of having children has awakened the quantitative love in her.

As I said, focusing on an experience is one way of magnifying that experience; sharing or giving it away is another; and calling it forth is a simpler way. All I have to do is ask that abundance, beauty, comfort, creativity, energy, faith, freedom, fulfilment, goodness, gratitude, happiness, harmony, inspiration, joy, light, love, magic, oneness, passion, peace, perfection, power, prosperity, radiance, wealth, wisdom, wonder...or whatever I choose to experience be magnified in me. The Universe will then create tangible evidence/experiences of these attributes in a quantitative way.

Let the God Presence/the ONE be magnified every moment in my thoughts, words, and deeds a zillion times.
