Squatters

During my bus journey I noticed a shop with half of its sign missing. It was then I spotted a pigeon coming out from behind the panel that remained. The pigeon was obviously squatting. I wondered how long it intends to stay there? Is it squatting on its own or is it a community of squatters. A week later I noticed a pigeon going behind the panel.

I've also noticed a bird has built a nest right at the top of our front door. The nest is quite tiny so it must be for baby robins or something similar.

I wonder if the bird chose to build her nest right outside because of my mother's Cuckoo clock.

I've got to hand it to the birds though for their ingenuity.
